    The kind of place you look forward to going to and doesn't disappoint. Wonderfully seasoned before frying, not over-caked with breading, and the seafood itself is tender and well-cooked. The shrimp have a very slightly sweet, almost coconut-y, flavor. Mac and cheese was good, could perhaps have been melted through a bit more when it was baked. The service runs smoothly and quickly. The menu has a good variety and combinations--they know what people like to order. Greens are cooked with turkey. Corn bread is on Fridays only. No chicken on Fridays. Cash only. ATM in-restaurant. The food holds up well to eat later if commuting. There is a window bar you could eat at in-restaurant but there are usually so many people, it would feel crowded to sit and eat.

    Had a taste for fish and grits and heard about Make My Fish in Harlem. The restaurant opened at 11:30 am, and I was 3rd on line. It was just a regular take-out spot- not very large. The music was fine, a bit loud, but as I mentioned, it's a take-out place. After I placed my order, it took 15 minutes for my order to get ready. There were 4 pieces of regularly sized Whiting fish, and a container of grits. The fish was lightly browned, but crispy. It was seasoned, and the grits were hot and creamy. It was filling, and I actually had more fish left over. I would go back. If you are ever on 116th, in Harlem, check out Make My Fish. Till we eat again...

    Food was very tasty, fresh and sooo delicious. Alex the owner was very friendly! Customer service was on point! Im going back tomorrow just to try his peach cobbler! 100% recommended!!!!

    This food is EXCELLENT, I come to New York twice a month and I make sure I bring my cooler and buy 6 Fish sandwiches , secondly the service is also excellent, very nice customer service, I don't mind spending my money in this establishment. Finally the ambiance is small yes,however the store is clean in the front of store, also inside the store,mostly the kitchen area is CLEAN. I thank them for that. I understand that they will open a location in Yonkers, I am waiting for New Jersey location. Until then I will continue to come to Harlem 116th street.
